Texas' National Night Out 2023

Event Starts: October 03, 2023

6:00pm to 7:30pm
MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS AND BUILD COMMUNITY!
Come on out next Tuesday evening, Oct. 3rd, from 6-7:30pm. Bring your favorite beverage and stroll the sidewalk or the park area or bring a lawn chair and gather to visit with others at either set of mailboxes or on the Haskell median.
The primary purpose of National Night Out is to encourage neighbors to get out of their houses and meet others in their area. If neighbors meet and get to know one another, they are more apt to report suspicious activity in their neighborhood rather than "look the other way" when they see something noteworthy. When you know your neighbors and watch out for them, overall crime in the area is reduced. Neighbors are also encouraged to leave their front porch lights on, showing solidarity in the fight against crime.

Ice Cream Social

YOU’RE INVITED TO AN ICE CREAM SOCIAL TO MEET OUR NEW DIRECTORS
It's time for an impromptu social event as we try to beat this August heat. Come for ice cream at the clubhouse Thursday, August 17, from 7:30-8:30. Your new HOA Board of Directors will be there. We are planning to have another event this fall when it cools off, so there will be other opportunities to meet your neighbors.
Also, we are setting up two NEW committees - Social and Landscaping! If you would like to join the fun let us know via the "Report a Concern" link on the Homeowners page of our HOA website, www.shopsatprestonwoodhoa.com. We will also have a sign-up at the clubhouse on Thursday night.

Transition Meeting

In accordance with Article 4, Section 4.1C (C) of the Bylaws for Shops at Prestonwood Homeowners Association, Inc., you are hereby given notice that a Transition Meeting of the Members is scheduled for Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. During this meeting, we will be transitioning from Declarant control to Homeowner control. This will be accomplished by electing a five (5) member (owner) Board of Directors.

Location: Prestonwood Baptist Church 6801 W. Park Blvd.

Room A-112, located in the main church building on the 1st floor to the left of the sanctuary
Date: Tuesday, June 27, 2023
Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
If you are interested in being considered for a position on the Board of Directors, you will need to fill out the enclosed Candidate Questionnaire, which will be shared at the meeting. You will need to return this form to me no later than Wednesday, June 21st. The Association anticipates posting election results, on the website, within forty-eight (48) hours of the transition meeting.
